We work with the “UNYON” concept as a starting point for the design.
“UNYON” is part of the 33% of Tagalog vocabulary that has its origin in Spanish.

Its grammar is practically the same, except for the “I”, which Tagalog replaces with a “Y”.
The work speaks to what unites us, but this simple grammatical gesture also provides the nuance of what makes us unique. The act of preserving one's own identity within the community.
