We wrote two verses from the poem “Ponteio”, by the São Paulo writer Alcides Villaça, on the perimeter wall of Sesc Osasco. On one side you can read “Os olhos querem o tempo, mas as palavras já têm.» and the other «Os olhos tocan primeiro, mas as palavras por fim.» The intervention takes advantage of the uniqueness of the support, made up of 248 concrete pivots, to offer pedestrians a new experience every time they walk along this road.

THE PLACE

The wall is made up of V-section concrete pillars, separated by 10 cm from each other.

THE COLOR

We painted the V-shaped pillars in two colour ranges that subtly change as the viewer moves along the wall. On the left side there is a transition from red to yellow, passing through orange. On the right side there is a transition from darker turquoise to a lighter cyan. White unifies the letters of the two directions, generating abstract compositions.
